These policies have been developed during sixty-plus years in the business of shipping perishable products, so we can provide the most successful shipping experience for our customers. We ship our products to the Lower 48 states and many Alaska locations. See below for specials rules for shipping to Alaska and Hawaii. Our primary shipping partners are FedEx and the US Postal Service.
Our ship dates are MONDAYS, TUESDAYS, and WEDNESDAYS only. Once you have placed your order, it will be packaged for shipment within one business day. We will then ship your package on our next ship date. See chart below – all times are Alaska time.

Perishable Package Shipping
We make PERISHABLE food items that require refrigeration as well as SHELF-STABLE food items that do not require refrigeration. Most of our Alaskan-made products and gift packages are perishable, so we must ship them via Overnight or Second Day Air to prevent spoilage. Second Day Air is an option for most states; to warmer states in the south, Overnight shipping is the only available option.
FedEx will leave the perishable package at the door if no one is home. Please tell the recipient that a package is coming! You are responsible to track your package and ensure there is a responsible adult at the delivery location to receive the package.
We must have a physical street address for shipping perishable items. We cannot ship perishable items to P.O. Boxes.
Alaska Shipping
We ship to most locations within ALASKA via FedEx, FedEx Ground, the US Postal Service, and commercial air carriers. The website may not properly calculate the shipping charge for shipments to remote Alaska locations, and we will contact you if needed to process the corrected charges.
Hawaii Shipping
For shipping to HAWAII, we are not able to ship perishable items to Hawaii. We will gladly process a Hawaii order for shelf-stable products.
International Shipping
We are not able to ship perishable products to INTERNATIONAL locations. We can prepare a shelf-stable package for you to ship internationally. Contact us for more information.
Local Delivery
We offer local DELIVERY to Anchorage and Eagle River. The quoted delivery price applies for 1-3 gift packages delivered to a single recipient. Available delivery days may be limited.
Wrapped Baskets
Our beautifully wrapped gift baskets cannot be shipped. Wrapped baskets can be purchased for In Store Pickup or Local Delivery only.
Returns and Exchanges
Because our products are perishable and edible, we do not offer exchanges or accept returns.
Our Shipping Guarantee
We guarantee that our retail packages shipped by us will arrive in good condition. If the package arrives not in optimal condition or if perishable products are warm to the touch, please contact us and we will resolve the matter to your satisfaction. Our guarantee applies to packages shipped to the name and address you supplied during checkout.
This guarantee applies only to packages which we ship. We cannot guarantee packages shipped by the customer after purchase.
FedEx and other carriers no longer always guarantee delivery date and time. We cannot guarantee that your package will be delivered by a third party carrier on the scheduled delivery date or at any particular time. For this reason, most of our shipping is Overnight only. If your package is delivered late AND is not in optimal condition or if perishable products are warm to the touch, please contact us to resolve the situation.
We cannot be responsible for loss or damage due to incorrect delivery information, or the unavailability of a responsible recipient, or events beyond our control including disruptions in transportation networks due to weather, strikes, or natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, etc.) Re-routing of packages en route or at the point of delivery will result in an additional charge.
Shipping Costs
We get it: shipping from Alaska is not cheap, especially when the products are perishable. We negotiate discounts with FedEx and pass them on to you. Because of this, you will pay less shipping with us than if you took the package to the FedEx counter and paid the standard rates to ship it yourself. Plus, our shipping includes our Shipping Guarantee.
The shipping price per pound will drop if you ship multiple items in your package or send more than one package to the same address.
